Festival of the Whales Celebrates 40 Years

Weekend Events Continue March 12th and 13th

Come out and celebrate 40 years of the Festival of the Whales in Dana Point for the second weekend in a row, March 12th and 13th. There will be events both on land and at sea and there is a free shuttle service to and from Dana Point Harbor if needed.

Every year the Gray Whale migrates from the cold Artic Seas to the Baja breeding grounds and on their way pass along the Dana Point Harbor area. Dana Point is arguably the best place on the west coast to view the migration of these beautiful mammals each and every year. This is a great time to be out in your community and this celebration has things to do for all ages.
